PROCEDURAL CHANGES

RIVERSIDE COUNTY:

Effective April 28^th, 2019, Judge Craig G. Riemer has been assigned to Department 1, the department to which nearly all RIC, PSC, and INC unlimited civil cases are assigned for case management proceedings.

Judge Riemer has revised the departmental procedures. The revised procedures are available here.

Alternatively:

• Go to the Riverside Superior Court's website.
• On the homepage, click "Divisions".
• From the pull-down menu, select "Civil".
• Under "Find Information About", click on "Case Management and Trial Setting".
• Click on "Case Management Procedures in Department 1".

The current version of those procedures will always be available at this site. As Judge Riemer becomes better acquainted with the calendar, changes in these procedures are likely. Recent changes include:

• Hearings on both noticed motions and ex parte applications will now be set at 10 A.M.
• The Court will grant one stipulation for a trial continuance pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 595.2 if the case is no more than 18 months old.

The Court suggests that you check the site periodically to see if there have been any revisions since you last reviewed it.
